I look back on the days when I was with them
How perfect it all was
We always cherished the moments we had together
We enjoyed the time we spent together so much
That when the time comes to part
We’d look at each other in surprise
Because of how fast the time flew by
When we were together
We’d talk for hours like it was the first time we met
We didn’t need anyone else
Just the two of us in our own world

Now tell me why we can’t have that
Why is it that whenever we’re together
You ask for someone else to be present
Why aren’t I enough for you?
Tell me
Because I don’t understand

I see you with different people
I don’t see you complaining
Why aren’t I enough for you?
And tell me why you deny it

Because one thing I do not need
Are lies
This is about honesty and trust
Give me honesty
Because without that
There is nothing
