Dignity of man

You have stretched Your arms below the heaven
Before anything You played at His feet
Man is boisterous hostile and vengeful
I cannot understand
The moon stars earth You set in place
Babies nursing unknowing give You praise
Come as a child
I give you peace
What is man that You even care
What is man that You even think of him
Mud and clay
You molded and form
Commanded to subdue
Beast of the field
Foul Creatures of the air
All things under foot yet man is filled with harm
Angels and man is a little less
All generations sing praise
We Your enemies are put to shame
Yet You bless
Praise be Your name
That You are even mindful
For what is man

What a great paean for the Greater Glory of God.
Yes, man is dust, - but at the same time "made in HIS image"
Bethink this!.
Great poem Dennis.!
Thanks for composing and sharing with us.
Blessings to you!
