what i feel for you
is so strong.
you make me smile,
you make me laugh,
i have so much
to thank you for,
for giving me hope,
for giving me love.
i was content to let
life pass me by,
but you encouraged me,
believed in me.
but though you are
not mine to love,
nor mine to keep
always bear in mind
i do love you.
