The Rambling of a Madman
Watch out!
Look there in the distance
Can you see him?
He is watching me again
I can see the glow of his power
I can
I can see it and it scares me
His power is greater than mine is
I must run
To the land of the little people
There I will be big
There I can be strong
But will I belong?
I don’t know, I don’t care
As long as it’s far from here
I have let him get too close
My end is near
It’s getting dark
It’s finally here
Goodbye to you all
I’m taking my last fall
O look there’s a cat
Will he fit in my hat?
I wish I had a dog instead
Then I could be fed
And I will most surely name him Fred
And let him sleep in a real big bed
Bug rug snug cat red bed sled Ned
Bananas pears peaches apples and grapes
And an orange peal

cool, what else could I say. I liked it a lot. There is more creativity in this poem than most of the stuff on this site. |
