I catch myself saying your name.
Thinking unthinkable things.
Dreaming of loving you again,
even if it just one moment.
I catch myself waiting up all night
waiting for a phone call that will never come.
Thinking about the last time my skin touched yours.
Dreaming of a happily ever after that will never come.
I catch myself writing my heartbroken poetry again.
Thinking rational thoughts
on how you can't quite love me just yet.
Dreaming of something
that will always be a dream.

I have felt this way before too so don't lose hope you will find someone to return the love you have and you will soon forget of this love. May God bless you and keep you safe. VERY GOOD POEM I LOVED IT.

this is soo sad and you can feel the emotion.. very powerful for a short write but a very expressive write.. I can relate ..great job on this piece
