Glory
Each step ripples eternity,
Every look brings you closer to me,
For the circle must be complete,
And the final chapter I will write, whether
Bloody and beat, confused, lost in my own defeat,
Stranded on a reef,
Each step brings a release,
For my page in history,
I hold it against the coming wind,
Cement my shoes and begin again,
Each step echoes eternity,
Starting with nothing but a burning heart, and a head aimed past the stars,
Across the universe, on a soulful journey,
Where you’re only as good as your last fine line balancing,
Twists and turns that be, your mystical feelings,
Between destiny and karma,
Between determinism and free will, your spiritual force forces on with skill,
And that energy in-between the scenes is where God be.
Using that energy is surely the path to Glory,
As each step is an eternal story,
That echoes into infinity.
