bled blue
and, oh so cold
he waited for his love
an ex-angel
with a barcode on her neck
she denied her wings for him
death came reaping twice that night
leaving him widowed
and without a son
this world so hollow
without their smiles
his heart, a pool of tears
three times attempted
three times denied
he even fails at suicide
were their deaths
mere accidents?
or had his love destroyed them both?
unanswered questions
and guilt took their toll
so young and yet, so ***** old
his life so barren in their absence
he could not bear to stay
so what do you do
when you're too sad to die?
you simply fade away
