feel the breeze of the ocean
the sound of peace
dancing across my mind
sweet sensation
of long ago
captured in a scent
take me back
if i can handle it
sudden decision
to never look back

none of it was ever as
good
as i envision now
[i don't want that life]
i'm only facing forward now
my desire to go back has been erased
i'm looking ahead
looking ahead [my peripheral vision fades]
