The Language Of Love

Contributed by Jeff_Scott_Morehead on Thursday, 2nd March 2006 @ 01:26:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Language Of Love
~~~~
I知 beginning to learn the language of love
You know, the ones written from heaven above
Do unto others, and all of that stuff
The things we take for granted that seem so tough
Connecting of mind, body, and soul
The jointing of lives, making one whole
The meeting of minds, the reading of thoughts
The uncontrollable desire to live in ones heart
I知 beginning to realize how hard it can be
To put someone else first, instead of just me
To flourish together, to live as one
Takes a lot of effort to get the job done
But I知 in it for the long run
So I must put my best foot forth
And make a concentrated effort
With all that I知 worth
So forgive me up front
If I sometimes slip and fall
I知 far from perfect
But I知 giving it my all
I think you captured this topic well; true love is more than romance and takes a great deal of effort. Thanks for the read.
