Lost Soul

Contributed by hopefades on Thursday, 2nd March 2006 @ 01:48:05 AM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

He can’t hold back his anger

That part of the family is now dead to him

He can’t stand to even talk on the phone with him

Yet he is part of the family and deep down

He really cares for the lost soul

He says he doesn’t because

His brother said he changed but he never did

His brother said he promised but he lied

His brother is addicted and he almost died

He put on a good show

Making everyone think that he turned away from his bad ways

His nieces finally called him their uncle

He finally felt like part of the family

But one day out

Sweating, craving, trying to hold back

But apparently his family wasn’t enough inspiration for him to give it up

He fell .. Cutting himself from the family

And now

He can’t stand to even talk on the phone with him

Yet he is part of the family and deep down

He really cares for the lost soul

He says he doesn’t because

His brother said he changed but he never did

His brother said he promised but he lied

His brother is addicted and he almost died

A call comes in

This lady is on the other end

Some girl that is living with the uncle and brother

She says

"Something’s gone wrong and he took too much

He is gone ... before he left he wanted me to call you

And tell you that he is sorry and to tell his nieces that he loves them"

Heartbroken he hangs up the phone leaving the girl with no reply

Guilt now kills the man knowing that he should have talk to his brother

Even though he had an addiction

But now he is gone

His cravings put to an end
