The graceful movement of her hand,
Her each touch is a birth of life,
The black notes her eyes comprehend,
To create a symphony of heartache and strife.
For it is not merely,
A simple tale of Ebony and Ivory,
It is her story towards destiny,
As she walks in song and flies in melody.
She lifts her hands gently off the keys,
And marks the completion of a masterpiece,
But she still sits there shining aglow,
For sweeter sounds of tomorrow.

I know what you're thinking...I used to play piano myself, too... it's just that with so much work to do these days, I have no time to play at all, and it merely just sticks there for my CV. Oh well. |
