The Piano Player

Contributed by blueheart on Wednesday, 29th January 2003 @ 09:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

The graceful movement of her hand,
Her each touch is a birth of life,
The black notes her eyes comprehend,
To create a symphony of heartache and strife.

For it is not merely,
A simple tale of Ebony and Ivory,
It is her story towards destiny,
As she walks in song and flies in melody.

She lifts her hands gently off the keys,
And marks the completion of a masterpiece,
But she still sits there shining aglow,
For sweeter sounds of tomorrow.

Wow! Wonderful! I'm a pianist myself but I think your friend is 10 X much better than me like how you described it in your poem. Great write pal! Love to see more of your works soon. Anyway, recommend this site to more Malaysians ok?

I know what you're thinking...I used to play piano myself, too... it's just that with so much work to do these days, I have no time to play at all, and it merely just sticks there for my CV. Oh well.

O I like this one because I have been a piano player for many years. I love the way you describe this. Its like this girl is here right in front of my eyes. I can vision it perfectly. YOu have a rare gift. Keep on doing what you do best.

Kisses,
~Soulless~
