There was happiness in your life,
But then it went away,
All your hope is now gone,
And your heart is filled with pain.
You can see the hurt in your eyes,
The sadness in your smile,
You heart as fell to pieces,
And you try to walk alone and strong mile after mile...
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
There was sadness in your life,
But then it went away,
All your hope has returned,
And all the pain has gone away.
You can see the sparkle in your eyes,
The wonder in your smile,
Your golden heart has now returned,
And WE now walk strong together, mile after mile...
