Inner Core
Like a scared a baby boy,
The warrior only comes out for Helen of Troy,
Otherwise my nerves shake my soul,
But My Inner Core,
Burns with my sword,
Can I hold my word?
With pride by my side,
I try to stay alive,
You can feel the heat in my eyes,
You might be catching a scared vibe,
But I’m not scared to die,
In fact I’m scared when I’m stuck and can’t fly,
Anxiety allows me to rise,
To the occasion,
Mind body and soul built like this nation,
Just another scared baby boy on a mission,
My strength goes only as far as Gods creation,
So in God we trust our placement,
In this world, On this planet,
I try to make sense of what I was handed,
Like a plane you hope has landed,
Gods plan we can’t understand it,
But with his love,
Any obstacle, we know we can handle it,
To pick up the damaged bits,
Of our soul,
And reach into,
Our
Inner Core.
