Words to Say 2-1-06

finding the words to say on paper is so hard
my feeling are no longer there
whats left to me is amazing fullness
yet complete emptyness
why oh why
is it so hard
to find the words to write
all night i sit pen and pad in front of me
yet not being able to say whats there and
isn't there
i stare out to space
my mind pacing and pacing
not knowing what to do
for now i sit and play
the riddles and rhymes in my mind
just trying to find
the words to say

I too had this same problem...I usually wrote 1-3 poems a day, then I lost my inspiration/drive and I didnt write for like 2 weeks. I couldnt find my words...you portrayed it well.

Keep it up,
moses

Not a bad description of the frustration of writers block. I've hit that wall myself many times. Keep at it. Nice write.

I think we can all relate to the fact that putting feelings to words is sometimes hard to do. Finding just the right words to describe what words can't is something we all face and you penned it very well......Mike

I can empathise My inspiration seems to come in stages , sometimes it could be a month before I get to write.

I find I am often inspired by reading other poets and listening to nice relaxing music.

Good description. well done.
