My Avowal

Contributed by DieRomantic on Monday, 27th February 2006 @ 05:20:23 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

So is this when im supposed to say,
You broke my heart, but its okay,
Even though I cry for you every day,
My feelings dont matter anyway?
Im sorry to say, youve made a mistake,
Im not going to allow myself to break;
I wont waste my feelings on a fake,
That is not a risk im going to take.

You'll never know the fake until you take the risk...in the future. Only a fool continues to pan for gold in a dried river bottom.
