Janie wrote a letter to her brother
"I'm sorry for letting you down
I'm a clown
Don't even bother crying for me
I'm sorry I let you be
I'll always love you my dear
But now I must leave"
She wrote all this
Right before she snuck out that night.

I like the last line replacing death with sneaking out that night. I sounds very underhanded but I'm also wondering if its a double meaning and she actually did sneak out to kill herself in some other place. Either way that line makes this for me. |
