something to remember

Contributed by hearts4pain on Monday, 27th February 2006 @ 10:13:27 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

all i wanted was something to remember
all i wanted was a feeling of security

darling, you left today... to go far away
to a place where you are and i am not
i did not a get a goodbye kiss
i did not get what i wished

all i wanted was something to remember
all i wanted was a feeling of security

today you left without giving me a letter
without an e-mail telling me how much you love me
or a voicemail that i could listen to over and over

i didnt want a goodbye nor did i get one
but all i wanted was a promise
that this isnt goodbye

but that this is the beginning of a never ending forvever
of us together

all i wanted was something to keep...
something to help me remember
the sense of security
when you tell me we will be together
forever

*this is for my one and only love Nate. we are meant to be. i love him.*
