It's getting harder each day
Knowing you're so far away
Never getting closer
It's always the same
Do you still look up at the stars?
Do you even live in this world of ours?
Are you looking down from above
Wishing I was there with you?
I just can't believe that our time was so short
But I know now that it wasn't a waste of time
Now I respect myself more than I did before I met you
So at least I can say thanks that I ever met you

Great poem and I feel you too.It's so bad how you wish to be there huh,looking at the stars next to that person instead of asking yourself.Well it's good about what you mentioned in the last 2 lines.There's always someone who changes us forever.......

| I love this poem a lot. Its not too deep or dark to where you cant even understand it, and its beautiful. Definately one of my favorites that i've read. |
