Infectious Banter

Contributed by Jyssvw on Sunday, 26th February 2006 @ 07:19:29 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I was feeling spontaneous
But the spurt has dispersed
With the moment that burst
And so I become my grievance

In accordance and adherence
With the manipulations of emotions
A predominance of error
Overshadows any firm conclusions
Feed the restitution
Pay back the dedication
With nothing less
Than enamored smiles that breed confusion

Contribute to the cause and honor
Which play by no rules
Have no shield or armor
Cognitive tools
To infiltrate with a platoon
Served on a plate
The wine never hits too soon
The stars never fail in comparison to the moon

Then why are we all doomed?

Don’t ever assume
It leads to assumptions
If you lift the gold cup
Be prepared for consumption
If the high never goes up
And the low wont stop
Be prepared for an influx
Of tears to hit the ducts
And open up the city blocks

I have been up since six o’clock

The ticking never stops

The blinking only drops

An eyelid in a socket snatch

Sleep is no match

Death is on watch

It may all go black

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
