Like a story unfinished,
The streets sweep by and offer no solace,
Haunted by the mystical mysteries of magic torn apart,
Nerves send shock waves straight to the heart,
Hard to say goodbye to a past life,
If it could have gone this way or that,
The past, burns like scars that always last,
Is my soul untarnished, still intact,
Memories, more than pictures of film,
Forever molded fire, thrown into the kiln,
Nothing stands still, shocks harder
Than the split second of being killed,
Things move on, but the fire remains and grows strong,
An unfinished story, like an unfinished song.

i am in love with this poem.
its really...really hard to interpret.
every time i read it i can think of a different things it might mean.
but really its a great write.
