Heaven turned black,
On the day that they made him,
Heaven turned black,
On the day they betrayed him.
Fire, Fire.
Templed liar,
Catching words within your tower,
Brick and mortar,
Building higher,
Broken future his desire.
(I surveyed what I made,
And I saw it was good,
Much better than before,
Now that heavens gates,
Were fuelled with my hate,
I could see it was good.)
Burn burn,
Serpents turn,
Deviled Jesus melds to one,
Falling faith,
A newborn wraith,
Born of heavens darkest son.
(I started to perspire,
As I saw all the fire,
Had come to an end,
It was time I should start,
My new work of art,
As I saw all the fire.)
