Fallen from the distances of night,
scorched by the sonnets of the proud,
I am knelt before the swords of sorrow;
I am laid down by the scorn of my own regret.
Let me drink of you, my love,
and let the water of your lips embrace me.
I am the dusts of the desert sky,
the sands of an empty time;
let me wash in the rivers of your love,
poured forth from the mouth
of a colorless dawn.

I used to feel that way when I first fell in love.
Never forget those times.
Thank-you, I loved reading this. |
