Give me the right mix of insomnia and caffine.
I heart dark circles.
I work the best under pressure trying to keep awake,
whether it be dusk, dawn, or daybreak.
Pinion me between
delirium and hysteria
chasten me not
I have no sleep clock.
I'll walk with footsteps soft and unbecoming,
but at least I'm considerate.
Ask me why I do it and I'll give you no answers
it's a secret unknown.
Sometimes I shun the obligation
Sometimes I can only sleep
A hostage, maybe
but just like all the rest
why dwell on something that gives me benefits.
