I have shed so many tears for you, and I know it doesn’t matter.
I have waited long for you, broken and deeply battered.
Now you’re with her and so happy and free,
But inside I know that I can’t let you be.
Every time I see you I want to leap in your arms,
To be held and to hold you tight.
I want to love you forever and never let you go,
And be with you together body, mind and soul.
To feel the love between us that always felt so right.
To know that what was between us
could have lasted more than one night.
Now I see you with her and it feels terrible and wrong.
To know you love her and it will last so very long.
I should want you to be happy, to always have the one you love.
But I so badly want to be the only one you want.
So here i say, with these nerve-wracking words.
That I have accepted to be your friend,
And to finally let you go.

If one doesn't want you as much as you wanted him than believe me in your heart you are better to let go and move on there is someone out there waiting for you to cherish and love you even though with the hurts right now you are probably in much doubt |
