Use Me

Contributed by jessie53067 on Thursday, 23rd February 2006 @ 01:29:02 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Hold me
Touch me
Kiss me
Want me
Use me
Push me
Break me
Replace me
Forget me

You used me like a little toy
Such a childish game
I let you take all that you wanted
A little girl in grown up boots

You used my innocence -my inexperience
To get what you wanted
I reacted to your every move
Was it just the way you planned?

And now that you've played your game
And grown bored with your little pawn
You've moved on to greener pastures
Where you'll find more satisfaction

But I'm not yours anymore
And dammit I''m not broken
I feel so used when I think of you
I'm so much more guarded now

This little girl is growing up
And removing all her veils
My body is my own again
And it will NEVER be yours

Like you
Want you
Need you
Can't have you
Lost you
Detest you

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
