You left me with so much hurt
With a pain that cut so deep
You left me in a puddle of tears
And a world full of grief.
You left me with a heart of scars
And eyes stained with tears,
With nightmares and bad memories
Of you all of those years.
You made me feel like I was nothing
You beat me to a pulp,
You made me hide so many bruises
And people wondered why i sulked.
You gave our daughter a life of hell
With a father worse than your own,
You made me worry night and day
Bout the burden she'd face when she's grown.
You made our lives a living hell
You made us pray for death.
You had us confused but counting our blessings
The day you finally left.
You left me wondering where I went wrong
And why our love had come undone,
But then I remember your just being yourself
Instead of growing up you'd rather run.
