The Children See Everything

Contributed by Lancaster on Wednesday, 22nd February 2006 @ 11:06:55 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

People get wiser with years
As faces grow wrinkled
From frolicking tears

Children get louder with screams
Prouder with dreams
An insatiable drive

Creatures get scary as the night sets
Howls of hungriness
Billows from empty pits

Girls get sweeter with gum
Meaner then some
Cleaner then the towel used to wipe up the

Boys get banished
From toilet tea parties
Toiletries trolleys

Babies suck their fingers to get fed
In shock from the loss
Of the warmth the mother’s guts played on its bald head

Mistresses are adulators only to get laid
Compulsive liars to get paid
Sweet children led down the moral path

Humans are alive to sleep, eat, and shh
If love takes a peek
Speak to the remainder of your sunken feet

Members of the club to get a foot-rub
A hot wax dipped in a mud bath
Nails percolate red dye from the eye of the devils’ wrath

Losers loose to win in the next world
Second place never gets the pretty girl
Runner up the skirt of love

Believers have blind faith
Religion in its entirety is a scientific waste
Priests on their knees while the Buddhist meditates

Sleep somber on your respective sides
Breathe harder as skins collide
Within the wetness the soul is alive

I have often wondered how and why we have left
so much to be gotten by the said.."child'
insofar as media and network broadcast,
we have no controll..
but where a parent can carry on without the slightest
thoguht of their children by and by..
I have much contempt-

(at least thats my redition)

Timeless ill-gotten lidealism cast on us-
the caregivers of this day and age

Brilliant..
