I miss the days when you were by my side
I could tell you things that I couldn't help but hide
You were there when I was sad
and when I need a friend
You calmed me when I was mad
But you were takened in the end
I felt so guilty when you died
and I held you close and cried
For many nights I couldn't sleep
All I did was think of you and weep
I miss you so much
and I feel you in my heart
Even though, you, I can't touch
We will never be apart.

aww this is a very sad write and its wonderful that you were that close to your dog.. Im close to my dog too. beautiful write on that feeling of a friend I enjoyed this piece alot thanks for sharing
