LostLove

And the light that has fallen
upon his eyes,
beckons him,
to witness
the birth of a cloud.
(Wondering if night will be seen again)
And if it be this morning
is all that is left,
this birth
is witnessed in silence.
But if it be
that morning is the representative of hope,
he wishes not to be awake in the afternoon
for his heart has lost love before.

In all honesty, I can actually relate. In fact, its a bit creepy how close it comes to an actual situation--if I interpreted the subtlety correctly.
well done. |
