Trade for Plastic

Contributed by DieRomantic on Monday, 20th February 2006 @ 08:00:10 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I cant help the jealousy
I thought it was just you and me
But shes what really matters I see,
This isnt how its meant to be.
At first everything was just fine
Because back then you were only mine
But now it seems I have to share
I really wish I didnt care

Im left here, completely stranded
Youve traded me in for a girl thats branded
Pretty, wonderful, perfect smile;
Beautiful, lovely, gorgeous hair
I hadnt caught on for quite awhile
But now its obvious I dont compare

So now, im simply all alone
Crying silently on the phone
As I leave you with the dial tone
Now youre nothing but a part of my past
When I thought that we would truly last
