Delusional Emotions

To feel so confused!
To know you’re being lied to!
But you’re in denial,
Why can’t they just let go of you?

And you can’t come to terms
With the fact you've been naïve.
When it comes to these things,
You need the thoughts to simply leave.

You wish you could know
The truth without a doubt
That you could spare yourself the trouble
Know what this is all about.

And for all the second guessing
After all the “coincidences”
Can't you just look through him?
Finally come to your senses?

You’re hearing things from all directions,
From, “he doesn’t really love you,
To him it’s just a game”.
To “I can just tell your love is true.”

So who is really right?
In all of this confusion?
I can only trust my heart,
Which is just one more delusion.
