Failure

Contributed by Never-Knows-Best on Monday, 20th February 2006 @ 12:38:07 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

out with your friends
or at least you pretend
that they know who you are
theyre always the same
a face with no name
to drag you back to the start
after trying so hard
after getting this far
you have to ***** it away
instead of trying to prove
what no one's expected of you
but i guess that'll do
for a failure like you
everything's gonna be okay

you talk a whole lot
but is that all youve got
besides the marks on your arms
say you know what to do
but you havent a clue
how stupid you really are
you pull yourself down
till you cant get out
without someone standing there in your way
ive tried to tell you
and tried to help you
but i cant just cure you
i can only assure you
that everything will be okay

dispite the incident
you look so innocent
with your blonde locks and tight clothes
you think that it matters
that your world is shattered
but in reality who but you even knows
will you just let it go
with nothing to show
before you can change and its too late
instead of trying to prove
what we're not expected to do
but i guess it comes easy
to failures like me
in the end, everythin's going to be okay

This is very good.

Take care

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
