When Helios dips his fiery ring beyond the horizon,
He paints the landscape a wonderful rosy shade.
As liquid gold and fire dance in heaven,
The birds return to every forest and glade.
All is well in the world, the clouds up high
Change from misty-white to violet and azure.
And with the sun's retreating rays, the sky
Exchanges its powdery blue hue for lavender.
A drunken sun, painting the vast oceans
Blood-red and gold; as it looms towards infinity.
Sans blasting glare, it blushes scarlet the mountains
And a calm surges across land and sea.
And when this is all done, Diana; opalescent and white
Ascends her throne as Queen of the Night.
