Looking outside my window
Birds soar gracefully in the sky
As the sun gently begins to set
The moon emerges way up high
Beneath the cascading stars
I start revering of you
Amidst the moonlit night
I dream of our love so true
You hold me in your arms
I look deep into your eyes
I’m seduced by your will
Time slowly slips on by
My longing for you is evident
As you whisper softly into my ear
Your breath lightly caresses my face
My body you hold so near
In my dreams we’re together
We dance every single night
Until time makes it a reality
In my sleep I’ll hold you tight…

Sue this is so beautiful! There is longing in this and such a wonderful acceptance and appreciation of the situation. I also find joy in this, how can one not from such descriptions! And the last stanza, just stunning, so passionate and relatable!
