Untittled

Topic: AngryPoetry

You where never there when i was younger,
and when you were there you where drunk, or drinking
and now that your clean and sober, Your still always gone.
at work or whatever esl you have going on.

You make promise's that you cant keep,
I hate that i cant trust you anymore.
That is one of the things that i hate the most,
Trust was something that we have always had.
now we dont,
you never talk to me anymore.
when you do you are yelling at me,
Putting me down, and making me feel like im not good enough.

I know that you are still smoking pot.
I am not stupid, thou Sometimes i wish that i was,
No kid should have to through what i have had to go through.

I rember finding the cocain in our bathroom.
cleaning up after you and mom
cooking, taking care of the kids when you and mom where to high to do it.
And the time when you would not work.
we had to pawning everthing that we had., just so we could eat, or keep our lights on.

I hate how much i hate this.
I hate how much i you...
i hate how you make me hate myself

It is indeed the honesty and the reality that make this poem very capturing. It is a very emotional, thrilling, yet very sad write. May God bless you or the person you may be writing about.

It's quite ironic that I should pick this poem as the first I have read
since joining this site about twenty minutes ago.

I was drawn to it because the author did not know whether it was a poem or not.

As I read it I was emotionally connected to the writer through similar experiences and memories.

I thought it was a deeply moving poem and
powerful look into emotional abuse.

Very good.
