Roses in Concrete

Two roses grew in concrete,
To the sound of people plodding by.
Instead of wilting away in the sun,
Their beauty began to shine.
Soon their roots joined together,
Forming one plant out of two.
It seems those roses that grew in concrete,
Found love ever so true.
