Corporate War

Love and peace,
A war of protest
In clouds of dust
Painted with
Blood and sweat and tears
Ten thousand, one million
And all the time we delay
Wait and cry and wish to fight
Because the one man died
We loved him
Protest and be branded
Hippy or Communist
Change opinion
Fight for patriotism
Now you’re hated—a fanatic
Hidden truths, widespread lies
Discrimination, political hate
Ones that whisper through the halls
Everyone’s to blame
For the deaths old men endorse
Brutal murder, gunshot wound
Fear and discrimination
They have black gold
The tacky mess
That runs our corporate world
