Insecurities that eat at me
Take control and start to breathe
Cultivate and grow those black seeds
I let it happen, you see
What good will I be,
And why would you listen to me
I take my time to write the rhymes
I speak with metaphors and honest eyes
But they amount to nothing
Who cares where we’re going
Why follow the sorrow
I’m not the first and won’t be the last
Where is my voice
Am I even looking
I’m surrounded by a strange hell.
Something unknown
When I want the concrete to stand on
I’ll never reach the point of no return
I find every window and every exit door
Call me a coward
You won’t be the first
I’ll beat you to it and say much worse
