a hushed veil floats to its demise
a symbol of the vague misery
the embrace of an eager floor
reflects the dishonesty in your impoverished eyes
how many times will we dance
before we all fall down?
as the veil flutters regrettably
soaks into the floor and disappears
will you swear me to your lies
as a captive, a hostage ?
was love the transparent promise of time?
am i the suicide bride
holding on to the impoverished destiny
so crudely offered
stale handed, accepting
an invisable veil of lies
