No matter how beautiful
No matter how sweet
No matter how wonderful
Or charming you may be
People will never change
They will never respect you
They will just turn the page
Laugh and neglect you
They will judge you
So bitterly
They thrive to budge you
With their endless bickering
You could be the smartist
A future president
Or an artist
No matter what you represent
They will still insist to bring you down
Pull at your weakness
Til you hit the ground
But you must defeat this
Because you are better
They may have all of the words
But you are far more clever
You do not have to reach for it
For it is already in your grasp
You no longer have to bleed
Because it is already yours at last
Fight them child
Do not let them win
And do it with a smile
Let history begin
