We are not angels my darling
We don't travel between worlds
We don't carry hope on our wings
We don't send people to war
We don't kill for pleasure
We do judge
but not by race or religion
Hatred is product of pain
but my pain, oh that kind of pain
it will never become hatred
or so I hope
My swety we are not angels
we don't even pretend to be that
our tears don't become rivers
our eyes aren't clouds
You seek the truth but aren't we all
Look around you this is the reality
and I, I can't see the truth
the ruinings of my town
the ruinings of my country
the hatred brought my home to where it is
the world threw Bosnia on knees and now
asks for something grater
You se why we aren't angels
couse here in Bosnia we arent used to anything but hell
My every thing we aren't angels
we are mortal just as the world proved that
by the blood spiled
We aren't angels and in their eyes we can't ever be
My bleding soul to them we are nothing

This is a very powerful poem. I really liked the style of writing to a loved one to express one's thoughts. Very well done.
