the biggest puppet

Contributed by lostrelic on Thursday, 16th February 2006 @ 12:28:24 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

This call heard threw the ages this call of WAR

Some bloody massacre's a few stories of lore

Threw these pages of time some heros arose

Scarred and torn surviving the battle blows

Legends grew some were more monster than man

They new to fight for whats right the had a plan

Now we have modern man a puppet on a string

Fighting for a bigger puppet a reign he just cant bring

There is no modern day warriors anymore

No one can rise victorious in a oil war

They cant really justify this religious slaughter

When they are not at home protecting there sons and daughters

I salute you the soldier in a crowd

Even thou its not your war you still make us proud

you fight for a freedom that your fathers made

they spilt anuff blood for that right to be paved

Indeed they did. A most vibrant poem and tribute because of them we have those rights not to mention because of those rights, that's the very reason we can write the way we do on these pages. Wonde if anybody else is aware of that? what's ironical is one day, and maybey sooner than we think, we won't have 2 worry about choice whether 2 comment or even not 2 coment, that priveldge will be a thing of the past. Nice job RM.
