Boss Hogg dressed in white and he was pretty big.
The name Hogg suited the character because he was a greedy pig.
But Sorrell Booke wasn't anything like the character he portrayed.
I loved all of the episodes he made.
Sorrell Booke was talented, that was a fact.
He was funny and I loved to see him act.
When he died in 1994, we suffered a great loss.
I loved to watch him play as Boss.
That was over a quarter of a century ago.
I saw him star in all of the Dukes of Hazzard shows.
He and James Best made a great comedy team.
In 1983 I wore a Boss Hogg costume on Halloween.
On the day of his death, his fans were shakened.
It's a pity that Mister Booke was taken.
