All those things I don’t remember come back to me.
All that guilt I have takes over my dreams.
Looking in the mirror, I don’t see anything.
It’s all so wrong, this life.
It’s not what I wanted at all.
But you have to know that when you’re holding me,
That every time you tell me you love me,
I’m so happy.
It makes everything alright.
Your voice reassures me that everything will turn out,
That this will all turn out for the better.
I love you.
I think you should know that.

Scars run into my heart.
They take over everything.
The past makes me what I am,
Controlling all my movements and thoughts,
Controlling the pain in my soul
I don’t deserve you
Nothing I’ve ever done has ever made me worthy of your love
But how could I tell you that without crying?
How could I tell you that everyday I’m with you is like…
Is like a new life?
How can I tell you that when you’re holding me,
That every time you tell me you love me,
I’m so happy.
How can I tell you that it makes everything alright?
That your voice reassures me that everything will turn out,
That this will all turn out for the better?
I love you.
I think you should know that.

And every time I look at you picture,

Those scars are fading under the light.
