His Goal?

It’s been so long since I’ve felt out of control.
Should I submit or take a stroll down this road?
Many roads I could take, yet it's Bob who has me standing stone cold.
What am I to do, lose my heart in his goal?
And what is his goal?
It's the unknowing which has my control.
He seems a good man in the induction so far.
But I wonder if he'll turn into just a bright star. . .
to give light to the dark, but then slowy burn out.
I’m intrigued by his stance that he presents before me. He’s so confident and so cool,
it reminds me of me. For this reason I'm in awe for what may reveal a new scene.
He tells me I’m sexy -his statement so deep, for my eyes see sexy as not meant for me.
Not to say that I can’t be sexy in my dreams. But in reality it’s only a flattery to me.
But good for him! –And for me, for flattery may get him everything.
Too soon though to tell in this road before me.
Do I stand cold in this road for my heart to unfold,
or turn around to where I am back in control?
Guess it will depend on his goal when it shows.

i don't really understand the meaning behind this poem, i think it's too personal. but still, i like the language of it, and that it's kind of mysterious. |
