HATE

Contributed by wrybod on Tuesday, 28th January 2003 @ 12:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Just disconnect me one more time
when I've not told you to
so I loose what I've been doing
d'you know what I will do
I'll go and get a hammer
The biggest you have seen
then come back to the study
and put it through your screen

DreamWeaver Thanks. I try to read and comment as much as I can but there is so much melancholy I have to give up before I've done half of what I intended.

lol I know the feeling so well. I have one little nit-pick: "loose" should be spelled "lose."

atwojay. See what it does to me I get so mad I can't spell. I coulde get Mick to correct it I suppose.Thanks.
Don't you feel sometimes that 'lose' should be spelled 'loose'? After all it doesn't rhyme with 'rose'. On the other hand English spelling as a whole needs rationalising.
It's a great site isn't it?

atwojay. On second thoughts I meant it in the sense of an involuntary discharge (as of an arrow or gun) i.e. the work went speeding off into Cyberspace, in which case the spelling is correct.
Thank you anyway for deigning to sample and comment on my unworthy 'morsel' (grovel grovel, fawn fawn oh what I'll do not to upset people)

Oh how I emphasize with this.
I was disconnected already the moment I got only-line about 15 to 20 times.

I too felt like using a hammer and smashing the whole thing.

Bless you for speaking up.

Emphasize deeply

I think there's a built in assumption that it costs you money to stay on line. If you are not active it thinks it's doing you a favour to go off line. Then when you go to the next phase in your calculations you get "page cannot be found" AAAAAAArrrrrgh.

I pay £10 a month for unlimited access. I wish I could tell the bloody machine that.

Short and sweet and to the point...
------------------------------------
Oh, I love you carpenters,
with hammers, things to fill
If you want the Dell to work
You pay electric bill.

If after pay, it still does lay,
then I would really twitch
I'll lay you odds it's not the set
It merely is the switch.

If not the bill and not the switch
I know not what to think,
If now I'm asked to render thought
I'd say the Dell doth Sti......

It's just that it has this idea
I pay by the minute, OK fine.......
so when it thinks I'm not needing
it takes me back off line

sometimes I can recover
on the back button it's still there
but other times it isn't
and I really tare my hair.
