I had given up on us
The words you now spoke were not words of consolation but of lost hopes
We thought it had completely ended
We both had a fondness for others
Even though mine did not compare to my feelings for you I was trying
You told me to try to move on
And yet you also hope that I was holding on to us
You get frustrated at my indecisiveness yet I am frustrated for the same reason
I’m scared you will change your mind when it is too late for me
I’m scared you love someone other than me
I had lost hope for us
I took off my ring of representation for us and locked it away
I refused thought of possibility because you pushed them away
When you told me of another chance I couldn’t comprehend it
I thought all hope was gone, banished to the winds
I was so excited at the thought yet in despair for I am with another
Will it work out?
I doubt it but you told me to try
I’m scared to lose you and yet I’m scared to have you
What will I do with us?
Did I kill all hope by being scared?
Will the other understand that I don’t feel the same?
Will he understand he doesn’t have the attention to give that I need?
Simple gestures of connection not there?
What am I to do? I gave up and now I have a chance
Will I squander it away or take it and run?

hey, i thought i was in this position late last yr but now i've found real love but he doesnt kno coz were dated and i sed i only liked him but anyways i hope all works out gd!
