An Invisible Wall

Another day goes down the drain
Everything has been typically the same
I'm mot as happy as I use to be
But not everybody can see

I've changed drastically since last year
I have nothing to fear
-Not even the future,
Yet

I've built a wall
Around my heart
For protection from hurt
-From love,itself
-The thing that hurt me the most.

-I'm scared and I know it
This world isn't what it seems at first
I an prepared to fall, crawl
And cry as if I'm living a lie
