Wondering what it would feel like outside of this preppy shell
Wondering if life is truly this much hell
Hating labels waiting for somebody to see your real side
Hoping that a person will realize how youve cried
Smiling fakely so everyone thinks your fine
Hoping if they look hard enough theyll find that one sign
You pop your collar just to fit in
So no one realizes how unhappy youve really been
You dont talk about feelings someone may think your gay
But on the inside you kinda think you may be in a way
Crawling up this hill as it gets steeper and steeper
Crying and Dieing as the cuts get deeper and deeper
Everyone who thinks they know you so well
Thinks that until you come out of this fake goddamn preppy shell

does a book worm count? lol thank you for sharing. i was not one of the preppy but i relate to the shell.
