The Miami moon repels its clouds
To make way for your beauty to shine.
So many miles between us, though we can both see the moon
In it, I see you. These many miles can’t keep us apart.
I see your eyes shine in the moonlit sky
I feel your touch through a gentle breeze
Your smile comes to me in a nocturnal rainbow
Your whispering voice tells me that you're by my side.
If you see the distant star twinkle...know that it’s my heart,
Skipping a beat the way it does each time I think of you.
If only you could come to me and share the view
You'd see how my night revolves around you.
You...my lady in the moon

An absolutely breathtaking write. I'm sure the view is spectacular.
Sweet, touching and completely beautiful. I simply love your
use of imagery and the clever way you elucidate your thoughts.
So stunning, in fact, that the actual moon pales in comparison.
I, of course, adore this.

This is a great write. It reminds me of a song I heard in a 1950's play.
"If you try
you'll find me
where the sky
meets the sea
here am I
your special island
come to me
come to me
Bali Hai
Bali Hai
Bali Hai" |
